7-13-07 After my charter decided not to show this morning,I had two choices,to fish or not
. I decided to take advantage of the perfect weather and go anyway so I made some quick phone calls and put together a group consisting of my father ,Harry and my step son Shaun Feehan and we were on underway by 0700.This proved to be a good move as the weather was perfect and the fluke fishing was very good. We had much larger fish today, with Shaun catching the largest at 5lbs and a good number of other keepers in the box at the end of the day.
7-15-07 Today I was back on the fluke grounds off IBSP in 20-30′ with a much colder water temp. than I had on Friday and the fishing did slow a bit . I had the “PRO” on board and was hoping he would have some luck, but even though he brought along his bucktail rod ,notably named “cyclops junior” he didn’t catch one keeper. Fortunately The captain was able to put some large keepers in the box so everyone went home with a nice bag of fish.
