9-10-07 Today was the last day of the fluke season and I was determined to get out on the ocean. After enduring some very thick fog around the sod banks and going out Barnegat Inlet we made it to the fluke grounds to find it still foggy and with little drift. Allthough the conditions weren’t great we had a good bite for our half day of fishing and we ended the season with a decent catch. I will be mixing up my trips for the rest of the season, mostly wreck fishing but I will look for bass in the morning and maybe do some trolling out on the ridges off the beach.
