All my days on the water last week had similar results.The fishing after the blow the week before had not rebounded to what I was expecting but I did manage a mixed catch of fluke, sea bass and croakers on most trips.Friday I had mostly croakers of the biggest kind with few keeper fluke.The fluke fishing on Saturday was much better with the two largest fluke topping out at 6lbs and a good number of shorts.Sunday was a bust,with no drift at all we managed only a few keeper fluke and no croakers. Monday I fished the Barnegat Light Reef in a stiff NE wind and had a few nice fluke and some decent sea bass. I am hoping the fluke fishing settles down in the next few days and before the season ends.
