Yesterday we had aboard the Anthony Rizzo charter for a day of fluke fishing. For three anglers we had a pretty good day of fluking. They landed a total of 8 keeper fluke up to a high of 22″. Many fluke were just shy of the keeper mark, reading 17.5″ to 17.75″!! We had plenty of action with the short fluke with many doubles on at times. Even some sea bass. The ratio of keepers to shorts is definately getting better. The water temp. in the bay was up to 82 degrees!! Big bluefish are being chummed in the Mud Buoy area. Bonito and false albacore are showing up in the slicks.
This Sunday is available for a charter. Full day or half day.
