The bass are here! An open boat trip on Thursday with: Dave, Jim, Jim, John, Bob, and Nick produced stripers to 30″. The water temp. was about 51 degrees and probably colder on the bottom. The fishing was a little slow, but with all this nice weather, it will be big numbers of bass again real soon. Friday, we had out the nearly famous, “Flounder Bob Abel” charter. Flounder were landed to 15.5″ and it was a beautiful day, except for the skates, they are everywhere. We fished a couple of spots around the Pier and went out to Romer Shoal Light. The flounder will be stacking up shortly to leave and the fishing will only get better.
This Sunday, the 27th. is still open to charter if you would like to book a striper or flounder trip. June charter dates are: 5, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, Sunday the 29th.
UPCOMING OPEN BOAT TRIPS: April 28, Monday…..May 13, Tuesday…..June 4, Wednesday. Come fishing by yourself or bring a friend or relative.
