Saturday we were out with Tony Miller and On the Spot Photos, we left the dock 4:30 knowing that it was an early bite, we were in the Bunker and fog by 5:15 and we were hooked up by 5:30. We went 3 for 3 and then it just turned off. We couldnt find any thing nor did we see anything hooked up. We went south looking and hoping to find one or two more, we checked out the Mantoloking pipe thinking that we could find them around some structure, notta, then we out to rocks around the Alex Carlson Reef, notta nothing. We did locate a huge pod of Grey Bottle Nose Dolphins the pod had to go on for 1/4 mile. we did come upon some Bluefish all 6 to 10 lb range, so we bent some rods for half hour or so and after a dozen or so we called a day.
Probabally could have caught more bass if people used common sense and didnt drive thru the schools of bunker but I guess thats New Jersey fishing.
